REPORTING PERSONS PER CATEGORY

As per article 2(r) of the Law nº 002/2025 of 22/01/2025 governing the Financial Intelligence Centre as amended to date, FIC has the legal obligation to develop and publish a detailed list of reporting persons. 
 

Categories of reporting persons

Under Rwandan Law, reporting persons are classified into 2 sectors: Financial Institutions and Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions(BNFBPs).

The following are numbers of reporting persons per category:
