FIC DG signed two MoU with Financial Intelligence Unit of ZIMBABWE and LESOTHO during ESAAMLG Meeting
GASHUMBA Jeanne Pauline, the Director General of Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Financial Intelligence Units of ZIMBABWE and LESOTHO on 31st August, 2022 during the Eastern and Southern Africa Anti-Money Laundering Group (ESAAMLG) Meeting that took place from 28th August 2022 to 03rd September 2022 in Livingstone, Zambia.
The signed MoU aim at promoting cooperation & collaboration in exchange of information for financial intelligence purposes to fight against Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Financing and Counter Financing of Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destructions.
