The Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) has issued Guidelines No. 002/2025 on Transparency and Beneficial Ownership on 20 October 2025 to help reporting persons understand and implement their AML/CFT/CFP obligations related to transparency and ownership information. These Guidelines also guide them in designing and implementing appropriate measures to prevent the misuse of legal arrangements in line with AML/CFT/CFP standards. Moreover, the Guidelines support supervisory authorities in ensuring proper records keeping as required under paragraph 6.2. They replace the previous Guidelines No. 001/2023 on Transparency and Beneficial Ownership.
