GASHUMBA Jeanne Pauline, FIC Director General and the Chairperson oof Eastern and Southern Africa Anti Money Laundering Group (ESAAMLG), opened the 51^st ESAAMLG Task Force of Senior Officials Meeting on 25^th March 2026 in Arusha, United Republic of Tanzania. The meeting, part of a series of gatherings including review groups and forums from 23^rd to 27^th March 2026, brought together delegates from ESAAMLG’s 22 member states, alongside observers and international partners, reflecting the region’s commitment to coordinated, risk-based responses to financial crime. 

As a member of the Financial Action Task Force Global Network, ESAAMLG continues to work closely with international partners to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation financing.
