Ms. Jeanne Pauline Gashumba, the FIC Director General was among Rwanda’s senior officials delegation led by Soraya HAKUZIYAREMYE, the Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Rwanda attended the 47^th Task Force of the Senior Officials Plenary Meeting held in Angola from 5^th to 12^th April 2024.

The Task Force meeting adopted the Rwanda  2^nd round of Mutual Evaluation on the Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing and Counter Proliferation Financing of weapons of mass destruction.

The meeting brought together over 400 regional experts, policymakers, and other senior officials from the 21 Eastern and Southern Africa Anti-Money Laundering Group (ESAAMLG) member countries. The discussions also drew the attention of key stakeholders such as the United State of America, United Kingdom, Portugal, COMESA, World Bank, Financial Action Task Force, International Monetary Fund, and among others.
