July 20^th, 2022  Dr. Uzziel NDAGIJIMANA, the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning presides over a virtual awareness workshop for parliamentary relevant committees and members of the National Counter Terrorism Committee (NCTC) on terrorism financing risks.

Eastern and Southern Africa Anti-Money Laundering Group (ESAAMLG) in partnership with United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) has organized this workshop with a main objective of  improving the understanding of Rwanda authorities on terrorism financing threats and vulnerabilities at national level in order to develop targeted strategies and policies, and to strengthen their legal frameworks  to counter terrorism financing risks.

The workshop has brought together both chambers of Rwanda Parliament, National Counter Terrorism Committee, and its technical committee as well as FIC senior managers.
